What is Domain parking?

Domain Parking is pointing a domain to another domain existing on the server. Consider you have a domain abc.com and another domain xyz.com. suppose you have parked xyz.com on abc.com  and u access xyz.com you will see the same page as abc.com. The name servers of parked and the main domain point to same name servers.

What is Add on Domain?

Addon domain is as good as a new Website. The add on domain will be hosted or pointed to a folder in public_html folder of your main domain. This is feature provided by the hosting provider, which allows to host multiple domains on single hosting account. This feature allows you to reach a sub domain directly by entering the name of add on domain. You can add multiple domains and remove them from the  addon domain maintenance menu. The addon domain are listed under current addon domains.

Please remember that the add on domains should be already registered and name servers for the addon domain pointing to same name servers as of your main domain.

Consider the following example :

You have addon domain named add.com and your main domain is main.com. you can access in three ways.

1 add.com
2. main.com/add
3. add.main.com

What is Sub Domain?

Sub domain utilizes the existence main domain name. It does not have its own domain name. A sub domain points to a folder in Public_html directort of your main domain.
